Carole Ammoun’s work as a professional actress unfolds across stage and screen.
Her artistic journey is rooted in an extensive and rigorous training that blends method acting, physical theatre, dance, and voice.
She began her professional training in Paris in 1999 with Sarah Eigerman, studying Method Acting and Stanislavsky’s approach.
Her training and artistic research have taken her to Minsk, Paris, New York, and Tunis, enriching her practice through diverse cultural and theatrical influences.
Alongside her acting work, she pursued movement training, including classical ballet, African dance, contemporary dance, and dance theatre.
Her vocal work was shaped through training with the Roy Hart Institute, deepening her expressive and embodied use of voice.
In parallel to her acting career, Carole has worked as an acting coach for professional and amateur actors
notably on the films Un instant mon glamour by Shirin Abu Shaqra and Listen by Philippe Aractingi.
Since 2001, Carole has performed in Arabic, French, and English in numerous productions
On screen, she has appeared in feature and short films such as A Lost Man and Hotel Beirut by Danielle Arbid, Asfouri by Fouad Alaywan, and La Cendre et la Lumière by Jérémie Scheidler.
On stage she has performed in I Had a Dream by Vincent Byrd LeSage, Haki Neswan by Lina Khoury, Sharon and My Mother-in-Law adapted by Afaf Shawwa and directed by Hassan Preisler, and Triangulated City with the Lotos Collective.
